A great deal of
data about World War II can be found in the American Archives in Washington DC.
Here we will confine ourselves to the so called Pilot Helper Files.
Immediately after the war the allies placed items in the newspapers asking
individuals to send in their stories. There are thousands of these in the
archives.
If you want copies of these papers then you have to request them from the
archives. They will process three records at a time. You need to expect that it
will take a few months or even half a year before you will receive anything.
Another avenue would be to
employ an
independent
researcher
who can go to the archives. There are many of
these available and it will be faster.
Works with
Microsoft Office Access 2016
or later.

the Danish
data.
